This on going class is for everyone whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or a pro at sewing and embroidery. Kimberbell Cuties is a great way to learn what your machine can do and celebrate your love of all things Kimberbell! There are lots of fun techniques to learn every month. “Hands On” is one the best ways to learn the capabilities of your machine. Join Studio 180 Design certified instructor Kathy Tucker as we make quilts for children in need for Sleep In Heavenly Peace, a National Bed Making Organization. This wonderful organization features 4 chapters in the Houston area. With the chapter at 249 and Jones Road making over 1000 beds a year. Students will be learning how to create the free pattern called Hocus Pocus. As well as, learn how to use the Studio 180 Tucker Trimmer III and Magic Wand as you create this fun and creative block. You can rotate this block to design 5 different layouts. Bring your fabric or shop from the wide variety at Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse. At only $10 for this wonderful class, you'll be able to learn, create, and quilt all for a great cause! Let’s get children “Off the floor, into a bed and under a quilt!”
Quilt Across America is a program that relies on the generosity of quilters everywhere to provide a quilt with each bed that is delivered. Quilters can partner together or sew on their own to make and donate quilts throughout the year. Quilt Across America was initiated by Studio 180 Design and Tucker University in July 2023. Help make this the largest quilting project in America and complete the process of getting kids, “Off the floor, Into a Bed, and Under a Quilt.
