Dull scissors and blades no more! Bring your scissors, pinking shears, and rotary blades and get them sharpened by The Scissor Guy! Put your items in a bag with your name on it and drop it off it off at the store. Please make sure you drop off your items the day before to ensure they get sharpened. Same day drops offs are not guaranteed to get sharpened! Items will be available for pick up next business day at 10:00AM. If you are paying by check, please make checks out to The Scissor Guy.

Accuquilt Block of the Month w/ Kathy - Conroe Thursday, July 22, 2021 10:30AM - 1:00PM Instructor: Kathy Tucker Price - $20 per month
Kathy has been a quilter for more than 33 years with experience in hand quilting, machine piecing, machine applique, paper piecing, and the Accuquilt system. She has developed two Textile Ministries, taught classes and one on one lessons in quilt making and has her own Custom Quilt and Longarm Quilting business. The quilt classes you experience at the Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse will provide beginner to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere!
This monthly face-to-face class will feature the Revolutionary Go Qube Cutting System. You may use your 6”, 8”, 9”, 10”, OR 12” Accuquilt Go Qube Mix and Match set. (Students may use the shop’s 12” cutter for one quilt.) Each month students will create a unique quilt square that will culminate into a beautiful quilt while developing quilting skills. Students may choose the face-to-face option or the Online option. This class promises to be packed full of fun and information.
What To Bring: Supply lists will be given at time of registration.
