This beginner-friendly serger class will teach students how to use their serger and take away the intimidation factor. Students will learn what a serger does, how to properly thread, adjust, and operate their machine. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will master essential stitches. Volunteers work on sewing dolls, doll clothes, tote bags, and doll blankets that are donated to abused children. Everyone is welcome—all skill levels included! Whether you’re an experienced sewist, just learning, or don’t sew at all, there’s a place for you.
Patterns and fabric are provided. If you enjoy ironing, feel free to bring an iron. If you sew, bring your machine. If you simply want to help, come on in - we’ll put you to work!

We Bee Stitchin' - Houston
Fourth Thursday of Every Month - 10:30AM - 4:00PM

Do you have any unfinished projects? Come join us for an all-day open sew with the We Bee Stitchin' sewing bee. We meet the fourth Thursday of every month from 10:30AM - 4:00PM. This is an open sewing group where members will be allowed to bring their machines and any unfinished projects they may want to work on and spend the day in the company of others sewing. Come for a few hours or stay all day and play! We Bee Stitchin' is a great way to get together with a group of people who share your enthusiasm! Enjoy your time and be inspired to complete your projects!

Step into the world of bespoke footwear with this hands-on DIY sneaker assembly class! Using the Patchwork Kicks system, students will learn how to transform their favorite fabrics into a pair of fully functional, custom-designed sneakers. This course covers the end-to-end process of constructing a sneaker in either a midtop or a hightop style.
Kit included with class price!
What You’ll Learn:
Use templates to trace and cut fabrics accurately
Bond fabrics with foam interfacing to create structure
Apply bias binding to curved edges for a clean finish
Install metal eyelets using a punch and hammer
Hand sew components together using an awl and waxed thread

Join us for an extended quilting journey as you create the beautiful Medley Quilt by Carla Klop. This multi-part class is designed to guide you step-by-step through the construction of the quilt, breaking the project into manageable sections so you can build skills and confidence along the way.
Each session focuses on a different portion of the quilt, allowing plenty of time for instruction, questions, and progress between classes. Whether you’re looking to stay motivated on a larger project or enjoy sewing in a supportive group setting, this class provides structure and encouragement from start to finish.
The final session is reserved as a wrap-up class, if needed, to help students complete remaining steps and address finishing questions.
