Description
Genuine Janome Accessory. Janome’s muffling mat is great for sewing machines and sergers. This wool mat with its rubber backing helps to reduce sound and vibration, allowing you to make neater stitches. The rubber backing also prevents your machine from sliding on smooth surfaces. As an added benefit you can use the Muffling Mat as a pin cushion so you don’t misplace your pins as you remove them while quilting. It measures 17-3/8″ long by 12-5/8″ wide by 1/4″ thick.
Since the wool top is not very thick, it is not recommended to use this mat as a pressing surface.
