The American Sewing Guild (ASG) is a welcoming community of sewists of all skill levels, offering opportunities to learn, create, and connect. Local ASG chapters host regular meetings, social gatherings, educational classes, workshops, and community service sewing projects.
Looking for a fun and inspiring way to sew with others who share your passion? Join us the first Tuesday of every month from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM for creative stitching, idea sharing, and exciting new projects. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced sewist, ASG is a wonderful way to connect, create, and be inspired.

Join us on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:30AM - 2:30PM at our Houston store as we come together to sew with purpose and heart.
Volunteers work on sewing dolls, doll clothes, tote bags, and doll blankets that are donated to abused children. Everyone is welcome—all skill levels included! Whether you’re an experienced sewist, just learning, or don’t sew at all, there’s a place for you.
Patterns and fabric are provided. If you enjoy ironing, feel free to bring an iron. If you sew, bring your machine. If you simply want to help, come on in - we’ll put you to work!

Join us for a fun class where we’ll make a ITH lunch bag stitch file on a laptop. Then we’ll sew the embroidery project with Puff Foam and a Name Drop. Class includes the ITH quilted background. You get the Art file and PES file, in case you want to use ours. No art skills required! Enjoy this two day ITH lunch bag workshop. Choose any color fabric and thread. Sew any name! Beginners welcome!
