Kathy Tucker is a Studio 180 Design and Laura Heine Certified Instructor. She is also a Certified Longarm Quilter. As a long-time educator with children and in higher education, she specializes in classes that are inspiring and educational while meeting the needs of each individual learner and skill level. With over 35 years in the art of quilting making, her classes provide beginner to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

This is the second of the 6-month series of Tucker University – Freshman Year, Semester I, taught by Certified Studio 180 Design Instructor, Kathy Tucker, features 6 of the Studio 180 Design Tucker Tools:

Students will also delve in to the following technique sheets to enhance their design precision quilt making skills:

4. Fussy Cut Lemoynes
5. Blazing Lemoynes
6. Migrating Geese

This Freshman Year, Semester 2 of Tucker University offers 6 technique courses for using Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 Design tools to develop exact precision and incredible designs. Students practice how to use a new tool each month and apply it to a plethora of patterns and designs. Each week is supported by a Design Sheet and Technique Sheets for students to realize the many options they can create using their Studio 180 Design tools. Students will be able to create a project of their choosing as they develop and design their stunning units. Don’t worry, no grades are given, only fun and inspiration.
