In this hands-on class, students will learn how to transform fabric scraps, coordinating prints, or 2½” strips into a beautiful continuous woven braid border that perfectly frames their chosen panel.

You’ll Learn:

• How to use the Kate Colleran braid template to cut angled strips accurately
• Chain-piecing the braid units for speed and consistency
• Positioning and framing your panel with the pieced border
• Squaring up and assembling the quilt top
• Tips for choosing scrap combinations that read as a cohesive braid

This is a fun, scrap-friendly project that gives you plenty of room to play with color while creating a truly one-of-a-kind quilt!
