You’ll learn essential maintenance techniques to keep your machine in top condition, and discover how to create fun and practical projects. By the end of this class, you’ll have the skills and confidence to maintain your ScanNCut machine and create a variety of projects.

    Topics Covered:

    • Proper care for your machine – how and when to clean mats, blades, and the scanning glass.
    • Creating a simple project – Using the machine’s dialogue to design and cut a personalized tent nameplate, including sizing, adding a name, cutting, folding, and assembling.
    • Finding and using patterns – Learn how to locate a pattern on your machine, open, size, and cut a gift box, and then fold and assemble it.
    • Brother Canvas Workspace – How to log onto Brother Canvas Workspace to find additional items.
    • Hands-on project from Brother Canvas – We will download a pillow box file from Brother Canvas, cut and fold the box, fill it with candy, and finish it with a ribbon.

This is an open sewing group where members will be allowed to bring their machines and any unfinished projects they may want to work on and spend the day in the company of others sewing. Come for a few hours or stay all day and play! We Bee Stitchin' is a great way to get together with a group of people who share your enthusiasm! Enjoy your time and be inspired to complete your projects!
