The American Sewing Guild or ASG is made up of Chapters, Neighborhood Groups, amd Members at Large. We offer something for every level of sewing experience. Local ASG Chapters offer regular meetings, host social events, offer educational classes and workshops. Many also perform sewing related service projects for their community.
Want to have some fun, sew, and spend time with people who share your passion for creativity? Join us the first Tuesday every month from 10:30AM - 12:30PM for some sewing and creating. We will be sharing innovative and exciting new projects. ASG is a great way to get together with a group of people who share your enthusiasm! Enjoy your time and be inspired! Do you have any unfinished projects? Come join us for our Open Sew Day in the Houston store. We meet the second first and third Wednesday of every month from 10:30AM - 5:00PM. Our Open Sew Day is a great way to get together with a group of people who share your enthusiasm! Enjoy your time and be inspired! Come for a few hours or stay all day and play!

Please Note: This class is for quilters looking to expand their paper piecing skills and creativity!
Turtle Island is a pattern from the Arctic Star Mixer Series designed by Judy and Brad Niemeyer. This stunning quilt measures 99″ x 99″ and incorporates floating points, curved piecing on a paper. Judy’s method for strip pieced Lone Star blocks, “fall of a bike” easy La Moyne Stars, and pieced borders. Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse has kitted the cover quilt for easy fabric selection. Join Jan Mathews, certified Judy Niemeyer instructor, for this 3 session class at the Houston store. You’ll learn a lot and have fun too!
