As a long-time educator with children and in higher education, she specializes in classes that are inspiring and educational while meeting the needs of each individual learner and skill level. With over 35 years in the art of quilting making, her classes provide beginner to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Learn to quilt with rulers on your very own tabletop sewing machine. Using a muslin sandwich and quilting rulers, students will learn ruler work quilting designs that they can transfer to their own project. What To Bring: Supply lists will be given at time of registration.

Do not buy supplies yet. Bring a notebook or 3 ring binder with paper for notes and to add samples to. There will be a lecture and a discussion on shopping for supplies & tools, with a special video produced by Carol Ann. It is of 7 quilters in Houston and how they have set up their quilting spaces, we will see some of their quilts and favorite tools. One lady has a set up a quilting business in in her garage, one in her dining room and one even set up in an assisted living facility!

This is an open sewing group where members will be allowed to bring their machines and any unfinished projects they may want to work on and spend the day in the company of others sewing. Come for a few hours or stay all day and play! We Bee Stitchin' is a great way to get together with a group of people who share your enthusiasm!
