Spring Break Camp for Tweens, Teens, and Adult Beginners with Kathy  - Houston

Kathy Tucker is an expert quilter and a Laura Heine Certified Instructor and Certified Longarm Quilter. As a long-time educator with children and in higher education, she specializes in classes that are inspiring and educational while meeting the needs of each individual learner and skill level. With over 35 years in the art of quilting making, her classes provide beginner to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

During the two day class students will be Using a fabric jelly roll or 2 1/2-inch fabric strips, participants will create this quilt using a strip piecing method. Participants must be in the 6th grade (12 years old) and be able to sew a straight stitch on their sewing machine. Adults are welcome too. Moms and child or grandmothers and grandkids would enjoy this class together too!
