Kathy Tucker is a Studio 180 Design and Laura Heine Certified Instructor. She is also a Certified Longarm Quilter. As a long-time educator with children and in higher education, she specializes in classes that are inspiring and educational while meeting the needs of each individual learner and skill level. With over 35 years in the art of quilting making, her classes provide beginner to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere. Using One Layer Cake and two charm packs, participants will create their own quilt top. Participants must be in the 6th grade (12 years old) and be able to sew a straight stitch on their sewing machine. Adults would love this class too! Moms and child or grandmothers and grandkids would enjoy this class together. This two-day class takes place from 10:30-1:30. Price includes both dates. What To Bring: Supply lists will be given at time of registration.

We all love our embroidery machine and using it with Embrilliance takes it to a whole other level. Let’s learn this wonderful software together and the possibilities are endless! Students will learn how to open a design using Essentials, resizing, merging and using the lettering tools. We will learn the tools for removing hidden stitches, color sorting and the stitch simulator. We will also learn how to create cut files for your appliqué designs. What To Bring: Bring your laptop already loaded with Embrilliance Essentials. The Demo Version for Essentials is fine, they work the same.
