Kathy Tucker is a Studio 180 Design and Laura Heine Certified Instructor. She is also a Certified Longarm Quilter. As a long-time educator with children and in higher education, she specializes in classes that are inspiring and educational while meeting the needs of each individual learner and skill level. With over 35 years in the art of quilting making, her classes provide beginner to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere. Are you anxious to begin quilting but don’t know where to begin? This 5-week course will teach the basic skills needed to complete a stunning quilt. Students may use the Accuquilt cutting system OR traditional piecing techniques. Kathy will teach 3 new blocks each week in a supportive and positive environment. Participants will develop specific skills associated with the art of quilt making such as rotary cutting, piecing, block design, and quilt history. Full Class Dates:

Linda’s classes are fun and empowering! Linda has a way of taking a project that looks complex and breaking it down in such a way that’s easy to understand. She adds her own sense of style while at making the entire class a blast! Her infectious passion for quilting shines through in her classes. Here's a traditional New York Beauty block setting that looks great in any fabric combination! Students will learn Linda's unique technique for creating perfect New York Beauty blocks using just one pin. They may choose whether to add a border or not. The class handout will contain the instructions on how to create a larger wall hanging.
