10:30 am: American Sewing Guild - Daytime North Houston Group10:30 am: American Sewing Guild - Daytime North Houston Group – Frist Tuesday of Every Month - 10:30AM - 12:30PM The American Sewing Guild or ASG is made up of Chapters, Neighborhood Groups, amd Members at Large. We offer something for every level of sewing experience. Local ASG Chapters offer regular meetings, host social events, offer educational classes and workshops. Many also perform sewing related service projects for their community. Want to have some fun, sew, and spend time with people who share your passion for creativity? Join us the first Tuesday every month from 10:30AM - 12:30PM for some sewing and creating. We will be sharing innovative and exciting new projects. ASG is a great way to get together with a group of people who share your enthusiasm! Enjoy your time and be inspired! Drop on by for a bit or stay for the whole evening, all are welcome. Be inspired, let your creativity blossom, and have a blast! All attendees will earn a $10 store credit given at the time of the trunk show. Kimberly Einmo is honored to represent Janome-America as their National Spokesperson. She is an international author, award-winning quilter, fabric designer, and has been a quilt judge for more than twenty years. Kimberly writes a popular column called Stray Threads, in American Quilter Magazine, and she has written six best-selling books, published by the American Quilter’s Society. Kimberly has developed a signature line of Precision Rulers and she is a Featured Artist for the Electric Quilt Company. As a respected and prominent leader in the quilting industry, Kimberly loves to travel and meet sewing enthusiasts from all walks of life around the world!

Einmo will teach her signature method of making this gorgeous star from Jelly Roll strips without “Y” or set-in seams using her Precision Precuts ruler. This class is a technique double-header. Also learn Einmo’s method for making absolutely perfect Flying Geese units using her Precision Flying Geese & HST ruler with no wasted fabric, no math, and absolutely no stress! Students will learn top tips sure to make your sewing time productive and fun, while improving your precision piecing skills and learning how to conquer that elusive scant ¼ inch seam once and for all!
