The American Sewing Guild or ASG is made up of Chapters, Neighborhood Groups, amd Members at Large. We offer something for every level of sewing experience. Local ASG Chapters offer regular meetings, host social events, offer educational classes and workshops. Many also perform sewing related service projects for their community.
Want to have some fun, sew, and spend time with people who share your passion for creativity? Join us the first Tuesday every month from 10:30AM - 12:30PM for some sewing and creating. Turtle Island is a pattern from the Arctic Star Mixer Series designed by Judy and Brad Niemeyer. This stunning quilt measures 99″ x 99″ and incorporates floating points, curved piecing on a paper. Judy’s method for strip pieced Lone Star blocks, “fall of a bike” easy La Moyne Stars, and pieced borders. Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse has kitted the cover quilt for easy fabric selection. Join Jan Mathews, certified Judy Niemeyer instructor, for this 3 session class at the Houston store. You’ll learn a lot and have fun too!
