Do you love your Featherweight? We do too! Come join our community of like-minded individuals who share a deep rooted love for these amazing little machines. It will be an excellent opportunity to learn new techniques, share tips and tricks, and even make new friends. So do you want to have some fun sewing and spending time with people who share your passion? Then the Featherweight Club is perfect for you! We offer something for every level of sewing experience. Local ASG Chapters offer regular meetings, host social events, offer educational classes and workshops. Many also perform sewing related service projects for their community. Want to have some fun, sew, and spend time with people who share your passion for creativity? Join us the first Tuesday every month from 10:30AM - 12:30PM for some sewing and creating. We will be sharing innovative and exciting new projects. She is an international author, award-winning quilter, fabric designer, and has been a quilt judge for more than twenty years. Kimberly writes a popular column called Stray Threads, in American Quilter Magazine, and she has written six best-selling books, published by the American Quilter’s Society. Kimberly has developed a signature line of Precision Rulers and she is a Featured Artist for the Electric Quilt Company. Einmo will teach her signature method of making this gorgeous star from Jelly Roll strips without “Y” or set-in seams using her Precision Precuts ruler. This class is a technique double-header. Also learn Einmo’s method for making absolutely perfect Flying Geese units using her Precision Flying Geese & HST ruler with no wasted fabric, no math, and absolutely no stress! Students will learn top tips sure to make your sewing time productive and fun, while improving your precision piecing skills and learning how to conquer that elusive scant ¼ inch seam once and for all!
