Autumn Pines was designed by Judy and Brad Niemeyer in 2017 as a 46″ x 46″ modified wedding ring ring design with feathered accents surrounded by a pieced border. It is a great introduction to Judy’s strip pieced technique for wedding ring arcs. Join Jan Mathews, a Certified Instructor for Judy Niemeyer Quilting / Quiltworx.com, in a small class setting at Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse in Houston, Texas (its State Highway 249 location). Class will be held in three sessions, August 1st, 8th, and 30th from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a short break for lunch. Come join us for a fun learning experience. Learn to free motion quilt on your own tabletop sewing machine. Using a muslin sandwich, students will learn 6 free-motion quilting designs that they can transfer to their own project. Gather ‘round the Harvest Table where everyone is welcome! At Kimberbell’s one-day machine embroidery event, you will create up to six seasonal projects for your autumn celebrations. First, you will stitch a Harvest Linen Table Runner with pumpkins, acorns, and lovely leaves of Applique Glitter, then make four coordinating Napkin Rings in a single hooping! You will receive Kimberblanks, designs, and sentiments to create four Linen Napkins. You will stitch the acorn napkin while at the event, then go home with the maple leaf, oak leaf, and pumpkin appliques to stitch later!
What To Bring: Embroidery machines with a hoop 6" x 10" or larger and pack a lunch. |
