Finishing any project with binding is the icing on the cake! Binding needs to be made evenly and applied without a trace of where you started and where you ended. Your mitered points should lay flat and the entire binding must be full: with the backing batting and quilt top layers. Learn how easily this is done! Taken right from her book: The Art of Beginning Quilting and Beyond, by Carol Ann Maurer’s classes are always fun and you will come away with a new appreciation of the technique of making, and applying your own binding!
